What is Revit?

The BIM software Revit® helps architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) teams create high-quality buildings and infrastructure. Revit allows for:

  • Modeling of forms, structures, and systems in 3D with parametric precision and ease
  • Simplification of documentation work, with instant revisions of plans, elevations, schedules, and sections as projects change
  • Empowerment of multidisciplinary teams with specialized toolsets and a unified project environment.

Why use Revit?

BIM Capabilities

Revit is a BIM software that allows users to create intelligent 3D models of buildings and structures. BIM enables collaboration, communication, and coordination between different stakeholders involved in the project, leading to more accurate designs and reduced errors and rework.

 Efficiency and Accuracy

Revit allows users to create parametric models that are automatically updated when changes are made. This helps to reduce errors and inconsistencies in the design, saving time and increasing accuracy.

Visualization and Simulation

Revit offers tools for visualizing and simulating the performance of the building, such as energy analysis, lighting analysis, and thermal analysis. This helps to optimize the design and reduce the environmental impact of the building.

Collaboration and Coordination

Revit allows multiple users to work on the same model simultaneously, enabling real-time collaboration and coordination. This helps to reduce conflicts and errors during the design process.

Minimum: Entry-Level Configuration
Operating System * 64-bit Microsoft® Windows® 10 or Windows 11. See Autodesk’s Product Support Lifecycle for support information.
